Red Robin names Scott Hudler as chief marketing officer

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. (NASDAQ: RRGB) announced the appointment of Scott Hudler as chief marketing officer, with his transition beginning Sept. 8, according to a press release from the Englewood, Colo.-based company.
Hudler succeeds Russ Klein, who has served as interim chief marketing officer since April 2025. Klein will remain with Red Robin in a consultative role through the end of 2026.
Hudler brings more than 25 years of experience in the restaurant and retail industries. He most recently served as senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Whataburger, where he oversaw brand, marketing, digital and customer engagement strategies. He has also held senior roles at Torchy's Tacos, Dick's Sporting Goods, Dunkin' Brands, Mars and Popeyes. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in communications from Valdosta State University.
In his new role, Hudler will oversee Red Robin's brand strategy, advertising, digital marketing, loyalty program, culinary innovation and development, guest insights and marketing communications.
