RZOLV Technologies names Mark Orsmond as chief financial officer

RZOLV Technologies Inc. (TSXV: RZL) appointed Mark Orsmond as chief financial officer effective December 1, 2025, according to a company statement.



Orsmond brings over 25 years of business and finance experience across multiple sectors. His mining industry roles included CFO of Minco Mining, VP Corporate Development for Minco Silver, and director of Keegan Resources. He previously served as CFO and Executive Vice President of Corix Group of Companies, where he managed a finance organization of 45 professionals and oversaw a treasury exceeding $1.6 billion.



In the electric vehicle technology sector, Orsmond served as CFO of Taiga Motors (TSX: TAIG) and ElectraMeccanica (NASDAQ: SOLO).



"Mark's experience will be invaluable as we continue the research and development and commercialization our water-based reagent for gold and critical-mineral extraction from ores, concentrates, and mine waste streams," said Duane Nelson, chief executive officer of RZOLV.



Grant Bond, who served as CFO since 2022, stepped down from the role on December 1, 2025. Bond will continue providing assistance to the company in a consulting capacity during a transition period.



The Vancouver-based company also retained Departures Capital Inc. to provide electronic advertising and marketing services for 12 months at a cost of $35,000 plus GST under a service contract dated October 22, 2025.



RZOLV develops water-based solutions for gold extraction as an alternative to sodium cyanide.
