RB Global restructures leadership with retirements and new appointments

RB Global Inc. (NYSE: RBA) (TSX: RBA) announced leadership changes and senior management appointments effective September 1, according to a company statement.



Carmen Thiede, Chief Transformation Officer and Chief of Staff to the CEO, will transition into retirement after two years focused on integrating Ritchie Bros. and IAA businesses. Jeff Jeter, Chief Revenue Officer, will also begin transitioning toward retirement while serving as a strategic advisor.



The company will operate under two specialized marketplace teams. The Ritchie Bros. go-to-market teams will be led by Jake Lawson, President and Head of Ritchie Bros. North America Sales, and Shiv Dutt, who joined as Executive Vice President and Head of Ritchie Bros. Marketplace. IAA's go-to-market teams will be led by Sam Wyant, Executive Vice President and Head of IAA North America Sales, and David Rymarz in an expanded role as Senior Vice President and Head of IAA Marketplace.



Randy Berry, Executive Vice President and Head of IAA Operations, will transition into retirement. Steve Lewis, Chief Operations Officer, will oversee IAA operations in addition to his current responsibilities. The technology team led by Nancy King, Chief Technology Officer, will report to Lewis.



Eric Guerin, Chief Financial Officer, will take on global mergers and acquisitions and corporate development efforts. Christopher Carlson will become Chief Accounting Officer from his current role as Senior Vice President, Global Controller.



Drew Fesler, Chief People Officer, will transition into retirement. Jen Schmit, currently Executive Vice President, Global HR, will become Chief People Officer.
