Q/C Technologies names Yossef Ehrlichman as chief technology officer
Q/C Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: QCLS) has appointed Yossef Ehrlichman, Ph.D., as chief technology officer, the company announced Sept. 15, 2026. Dr. Ehrlichman will lead the company's optical processing unit (OPU) program and overall technology strategy.
Dr. Ehrlichman joined Q/C Technologies earlier this year as founding manager of photonic integrated circuit (PIC) development. He brings 15 years of experience in silicon photonic integrated circuits, covering device design, foundry process development and volume production. He holds U.S. patents on linearized optical digital-to-analog conversion and multi-electrode micro-ring devices, both of which the company describes as building blocks of its OPU architecture.
"Our integrated photonics program is developing the components needed to keep data in optical form through more of the computation and bring those components together into scalable systems," Dr. Ehrlichman said, adding that the company is taking "a staged approach, with clear milestones."
Executive Chairman Joshua Silverman said Dr. Ehrlichman will lead the company's integrated photonics track alongside a separate optical AI model for image generation, describing the two efforts as "complementary directions" in optical computing.
Q/C Technologies develops optical computing solutions and is working toward integrating optical processing and memory into a unified computing platform.
