Q-Gold Resources names Rodrigo Costa as VP of technical services

Q-Gold Resources Ltd. has appointed Rodrigo Costa as Vice President of Technical Services and Engineering, according to a company statement.

Costa holds an engineering degree and a Master of Science in Engineering from Queen's University in Canada. He brings more than 30 years of international experience in project development, engineering, construction, commissioning, and operational management, with a focus on gold and precious metals projects.

Peter Tagliamonte, Chief Executive Officer of QGold, said Costa has "a proven track record of delivering engineering and feasibility studies for mining projects around the world" and experience managing projects "in environmentally sensitive settings."

Costa said he looks "forward to applying my experience in engineering, project execution and operations to support the responsible advancement of Quartz Mountain and Mine Centre."

Q-Gold Resources, listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, is a Canadian gold development and exploration company. Its primary assets are the Quartz Mountain Gold Project in Oregon and the Mine Centre Gold Project in Ontario.
