PublicSquare names Dusty Wunderlich as new CEO

PSQ Holdings Inc. (NYSE: PSQH), which operates under the PublicSquare brand, appointed Dusty Wunderlich as chief executive officer effective immediately, according to a company statement. Wunderlich will retain his role as chairman of the board.
Michael Seifert stepped down as CEO and resigned from the board of directors, with his departure effective January 27, 2026.
Wunderlich previously served as CEO of Credova until PublicSquare acquired the company in March 2024. He joined PublicSquare's board following the acquisition and became chairman in January 2026. Prior to his current role, he held the position of chief strategy officer at PublicSquare.
The leadership change supports the company's transition toward fintech operations, specifically credit and payments services. Blake Masters, lead independent director, said the move represents "a critical step in the Company's transition toward credit and payments, with a focus on cash flow efficiency."
Wunderlich has more than a decade of experience in the fintech sector across companies at various growth stages. Before joining PublicSquare, he served as president of Credova and was managing member of Red Rock Armory LLC from January 2021 until March 2024.
PublicSquare describes itself as a financial technology company that builds financial solutions for consumers and businesses. The company trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker PSQH.
