ProMIS Neurosciences names former Biogen executive as chief commercial officer

ProMIS Neurosciences Inc. (Nasdaq: PMN) has appointed Ivana Rubino, Ph.D., as Chief Commercial Officer, effective October 5, 2026, according to a company statement.

Dr. Rubino joins from Biogen, where she most recently served as Vice President and Global Head of Alzheimer's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis Medical. In that role, she led global medical strategy and launch readiness, served as alliance medical strategy leader with Eisai, and supported the global development of LEQEMBI across 52 market approvals. Prior to Biogen, she held medical affairs, commercial and regulatory roles at F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG in Basel, Switzerland.

In her new role, Dr. Rubino will oversee commercial and market preparation strategy for PMN310, ProMIS' lead investigational antibody for Alzheimer's disease. Her responsibilities will include market access and payer planning, patient and physician pathway development, key opinion leader engagement, launch readiness and lifecycle strategy. She will also contribute to regulatory strategy and business development.

The appointment comes as ProMIS prepares for 12-month topline results from its PRECISE-AD Phase 1b clinical study of PMN310, expected in the first quarter of 2027. PMN310 is a humanized monoclonal antibody designed to selectively target toxic amyloid-beta oligomers in patients with mild cognitive impairment or mild Alzheimer's disease.

In connection with her appointment, ProMIS granted Dr. Rubino a non-qualified stock option to purchase 80,000 common shares at an exercise price of $9.37 per share, equal to the closing price on October 5, 2026. The option carries a 10-year term, with 25% vesting on her hire date and the remainder vesting in equal monthly installments over 36 months, subject to continued service.

Dr. Rubino holds a Ph.D. in Immunology and Molecular Biology from the University of Lausanne, an M.Sc. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Milan, and an M.Sc. in Genetics from the University of Paris VII.
