PowerBank names Nicole Rusaw as new CFO, succeeding Sam Sun
PowerBank Corporation (NASDAQ: PBK, Cboe CA: PBK, FSE: 103) has appointed Nicole Rusaw, CPA, CA, as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately, according to a company statement. She succeeds Sam Sun in the role.
Rusaw holds a Bachelor of Accounting with First Class Honours from Brock University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant in Ontario. The company states she has more than 20 years of public company finance experience.
In her new role, Rusaw will oversee PowerBank's financial strategy, including capital markets, financial reporting, risk management, and corporate governance.
"Nicole brings more than two decades of public company finance leadership and extensive experience navigating periods of transition, capital raising and growth," said CEO Dr. Richard Lu.
PowerBank describes itself as an independent renewable and clean energy project developer focused on distributed and community solar projects in Canada and the United States, with a development pipeline of over one gigawatt and more than 100 megawatts of built capacity.
