Pasqal, a French neutral-atom quantum computing company, has appointed Stéphane Rougeot as Chief Financial Officer as it prepares to go public through a business combination with Bleichroeder Acquisition Corp. II (NASDAQ: BBCQ).

Rougeot brings more than two decades of executive finance experience across multinational technology, media, and industrial companies. He previously served as CFO and Deputy CEO of Deezer S.A. (Euronext Paris: DEEZR) and as CFO and a member of the Board of Management of Signify N.V. (Euronext Amsterdam: LIGHT). He also spent seven years at Technicolor S.A. (Euronext Paris: TCH), serving first as CFO in Paris and later as Deputy CEO of its technology and licensing business in Los Angeles. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance and strategy roles at Total S.A. and Orange S.A. He holds degrees from Sciences Po Paris and Université Paris-Dauphine.

In his new role, Rougeot will oversee financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, and investor relations. He will also lead efforts related to Pasqal's capital markets readiness in connection with the proposed business combination.

"Stéphane has been CFO of multiple publicly listed companies and has guided them through transformation and international growth," said Wasiq Bokhari, Chief Executive Officer of Pasqal. "As we prepare to become a public company and scale globally, that is precisely the experience Pasqal needs."

Pasqal, founded in 2019 and headquartered in France, employs more than 275 people and counts over 25 clients and partners, including Aramco, CMA CGM, Thales, and Sumitomo. The company has raised more than $300 million in total funding. A registration statement related to the proposed business combination was jointly filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on May 26, 2026.
