Pacific Valley Bank names Vida Villanueva as executive VP and COO

Pacific Valley Bank (OTC: PVBK) appointed Vida Villanueva as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, according to a company statement released September 8.



Villanueva brings nearly 30 years of experience in community and international banking. She previously held executive positions at Monterey County Bank, 1st Capital Bank, and HSBC, where she managed enterprise strategies across the United States, Latin America, and the Middle East.



In her new role, Villanueva will oversee Risk and Compliance, Information Technology, Innovation, Operations, and Human Resources departments. She will also participate in shaping the bank's long-term strategy.



"Vida's appointment signals a bold step forward for Pacific Valley Bank," said Anker Fanoe, CEO of the bank. "Her strategic vision and operational depth will be key to enhancing our efficiency, governance, and customer experience across our operating footprint."



Villanueva holds experience in risk management, compliance, operations, innovation, IT, and strategic transformation. She is a Mills College graduate and currently serves as Board President of Girls Inc. of the Central Coast.



Pacific Valley Bank, founded in 2004, operates as a community business bank serving Monterey County and surrounding areas in California's Central Coast region. The bank's shares trade on the over-the-counter market.
