Oregon Pacific Bank announced the appointment of Matt Baker as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. The appointment is part of the bank's executive leadership transition following the promotion of Amber White to President.

Baker brings more than 20 years of community banking experience, with expertise in accounting, finance, treasury, asset-liability management, risk management, and regulatory compliance. He previously served for more than a decade as Chief Financial Officer of a $650 million financial institution, where he also acted as Corporate Treasurer and Risk Officer.

In his previous roles, Baker worked with executive leadership teams and boards of directors on enterprise financial strategy, capital planning, and balance-sheet positioning. His responsibilities included oversight of asset-liability management, liquidity and funding strategies, investment portfolio management, stress testing, audit and compliance functions, and regulatory examinations.

"Matt brings deep financial expertise along with a collaborative approach that aligns well with our culture," said White. "As we move through this next phase of our leadership transition, his experience and perspective will be valuable in supporting our team and strategic priorities."

Baker holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from Oregon State University and graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School. He serves as an Executive Board Member of Synergy by Association and previously chaired the Oregon Bankers Association Finance & Accounting Roundtable.
