ONE Nuclear acquires Amino Sustainability Group, names new CDO
ONE Nuclear Energy LLC announced the acquisition of Amino Sustainability Group, a specialized energy and digital infrastructure development advisory firm, according to a press release. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Christopher Hansmeyer, founder and managing partner of Amino, has been appointed chief development officer of ONE Nuclear. In the role, Hansmeyer will oversee the full development lifecycle across the company's portfolio, including site origination, community engagement, interconnection, permitting, and final investment decisions.
Hansmeyer brings over 28 years of experience in energy, water, and digital infrastructure development across North America. He has previously held executive roles at Abengoa (Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure), LG Electronics, and Lightsource bp, and has led power development efforts covering more than 50 gigawatts of capacity.
"Speed to market, site control and regulatory alignment are key drivers of competitive advantage in scaling energy infrastructure for AI and industrial demand," said Richard Taylor, chairman and CEO of ONE Nuclear.
ONE Nuclear is an independent developer of energy infrastructure focused on natural gas and advanced nuclear small modular reactor technology. The company previously announced a definitive business combination agreement with Hennessy Capital Investment Corp. VII (NASDAQ: HVII). The combined company is expected to list on the Nasdaq exchange under the ticker symbol "ONEN," with the transaction anticipated to close in the second half of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
