ONE Group names Nicole Thaung as CFO effective September 2025

The ONE Group Hospitality, Inc. (NASDAQ: STKS) announced the appointment of Nicole Thaung as Chief Financial Officer, effective September 8, 2025. Thaung will replace Tyler Loy, who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.

Thaung has served as CFO of Benihana since August 2018 and has over 15 years of experience with the restaurant chain. She previously held positions including Vice President of Finance and Controller at Benihana after joining the company in 2009. Prior to Benihana, she worked nearly eight years at Ernst & Young LLP, most recently as Audit Manager.

The appointment comes as The ONE Group works to integrate its Benihana acquisition, which now represents over 55% of the company's total revenues. Chief Executive Officer Emanuel Hilario stated that the company expects to realize $20 million in synergies from the acquisition by the end of 2026.

Thaung holds bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from the University of Florida. The information was disclosed in a company press release.

The ONE Group operates upscale restaurant brands including STK steakhouses, Benihana, Kona Grill, and RA Sushi across multiple markets in the United States and internationally.
