Northpointe Bancshares names new COO and chief credit officer

Northpointe Bancshares, Inc. (NYSE: NPB) announced that Joseph (JB) Long will join the company as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Credit Officer, effective September 14, 2026.
Long will assume both roles currently held by Kevin Comps, who serves as President of Northpointe Bank. In his new position, Long will oversee the bank's credit, capital markets and mortgage operations functions.
Long previously served as Chief Banking & Capital Markets Officer at Cenlar FSB, where he managed portfolio risk management, banking operations, capital markets and strategic development. Before that, he spent more than 25 years at EverBank in senior leadership roles focused on capital markets, mortgage banking and portfolio management. He also served as President and Chief Revenue Officer of Incenter Lender Services and EVP of Capital Markets at Onity Group.

Northpointe Bancshares is headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and operates Northpointe Bank, which provides home loans and retail banking products nationally.
