NorthStar Gaming Holdings Inc. (TSXV: BET) (OTCQB: NSBBF) announced that Michael Moskowitz is no longer the company's chief executive officer or chair of its board of directors, effective immediately.

The board appointed Corey Goodman, the company's chief development officer and general counsel, as interim chief executive officer. Goodman co-founded NorthStar and has experience in online gaming, operational realignment, corporate restructuring, and capital markets.

"Mr. Goodman has been an essential contributor since the founding of the Company," said Dean MacDonald, director. "The Board has full confidence in his leadership and his deep knowledge of our business."

MacDonald, who has served on the board since 2023, was appointed chair of the board following Moskowitz's departure. Barry Shafran resigned from the board of directors, effective immediately. Shafran served as chair of the audit committee.

The company said it will announce the appointment of an additional independent director and a new chair of the audit committee once the board finalizes its selection.

NorthStar operates NorthStar Bets, a Canadian casino and sportsbook platform. The Toronto-based company trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "BET" and on the OTCQB under "NSBBF."

The information comes from a company press release.
