NextDecade names John Zuklic as CFO effective July 2026

NextDecade Corporation (NASDAQ: NEXT) announced the appointment of John Zuklic as Chief Financial Officer, effective July 6, 2026. Mike Mott, who currently serves as Interim Chief Financial Officer, will return to his role as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Transformation.
Zuklic brings more than 30 years of energy industry experience, including senior finance roles in capital-intensive businesses. He joins NextDecade from Citgo Petroleum Corporation, where he served as Chief Financial Officer since 2020. At Citgo, he led the finance organization and was responsible for financial strategy execution and company recapitalization.
Prior to Citgo, Zuklic spent most of his career at Phillips 66 and its predecessor, ConocoPhillips, progressing through various roles in treasury, corporate finance, risk management, and enterprise transformation. Following the Phillips 66 spinoff from ConocoPhillips, he served as Vice President and Treasurer, managing global treasury operations and substantial investment portfolios.

NextDecade is developing the Rio Grande LNG natural gas liquefaction and export facility near Brownsville, Texas, with approximately 48 MTPA of potential liquefaction capacity currently under construction or in development. The company is headquartered in Houston, Texas.
