NeurAxis names Craig Blanchard as chief commercial officer
NeurAxis, Inc. (NYSE American: NRXS) has appointed Craig Blanchard as Chief Commercial Officer, the medical technology company announced. In the role, Blanchard will oversee sales and marketing functions at the Carmel, Ind.-based company.
Blanchard previously served as Vice President of Product Strategy, Marketing and Field Clinical at NICO Corporation, where he led commercial strategy for minimally invasive neurosurgery technologies. NICO was acquired by Stryker in 2024, with its technologies having reached more than 40,000 patients. Earlier in his career, Blanchard held commercial leadership positions at Boston Scientific and Guidant Corporation.

"As we prepare to significantly expand our commercial organization and anticipate a substantial increase in covered lives, his experience building sales teams, launching innovative medical technologies and driving market adoption will be invaluable."
NeurAxis markets IB-Stim, an FDA-cleared neuromodulation device that stimulates cranial nerve bundles in the ear to help regulate pain signaling between the gut and the brain. The device is cleared for the treatment of functional abdominal pain associated with irritable bowel syndrome and functional dyspepsia in patients aged 8 and older.
