Neonode names Marec Gasiun as executive vice president of sales

Neonode Inc. (NASDAQ: NEON) announced the appointment of Marec Gasiun as Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing, effective January 1, 2026.

Gasiun brings commercial leadership experience across automotive, technology, and telecommunications sectors. He most recently served as Vice President of Business Development at SeeReal Technologies, a holographic technology company. Previously, he held the position of Vice President, Global Technology Partnerships, at Telia Company and served as Head of Business Development for Google's automotive software business.

The appointment follows the company's December 2025 conversion of a commercial vehicle design win into a production license agreement. According to the press release, this milestone represents the deployment of Neonode's MultiSensing driver monitoring technology in commercial vehicles.

"The recruitment of Marec allows us to consolidate all commercial activities into a single, focused team," said Daniel Alexus, President & CEO of Neonode. "This will sharpen execution, and with Marec's extensive experience in commercial leadership across technology, automotive, and high-growth environments, we now have the right setup to accelerate our growth journey."

Alexus stated that the company is positioned to advance its MultiSensing computer vision and AI technology in 2026 as traditional touch technologies decline.
