Mid Penn Bank names Dana Stewart as chief operating officer

Mid Penn Bank, a subsidiary of Mid Penn Bancorp Inc. (NASDAQ: MPB), announced the appointment of Dana Stewart as executive vice president and chief operating officer, effective January 5, 2026.
Stewart will oversee the bank's loan and deposit operations groups and report to President and CEO Rory Ritrievi. The appointment marks the creation of the chief operating officer position at the Pennsylvania-based bank.
Stewart brings more than 35 years of financial services experience to the role. He most recently served as senior vice president and director of the project management office at First National Bank in Pittsburgh, where he led transformation and project delivery initiatives. His background includes experience with corporate strategic initiatives, merger and acquisition integrations, and regulatory exam coordination.
Prior to First National Bank, Stewart worked as managing director at BNYMellon, where he led program development and implementation of transformation initiatives focused on IT cost optimization, service quality improvement, and process standardization.
Stewart holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Financial Planning from Grove City College and a Master of Business Administration from Robert Morris University. He serves as a board member of FAMEāthe Fund for Advancement of Minorities through Education and is a member of the Tocqueville Society of United Way of Southwestern PA.
Mid Penn Bank operates 59 retail locations throughout Pennsylvania and central and southern New Jersey, with total assets exceeding $6 billion. The bank has served communities since 1868 and is headquartered in Millersburg, Pennsylvania.
