Mexican Gold appoints Holgren Lai as chief financial officer
Mexican Gold Mining Corp. (TSXV: MEX) (OTCQB: MEXGF) announced the appointment of Holgren Lai as Chief Financial Officer, effective April 2, 2026.
Lai, a certified public accountant, brings experience in financial reporting and tax services for public companies, with specialization in junior mining companies. He has also worked in consumer products, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical industries on capital markets transactions including initial public offerings and internal controls implementation.
The new CFO is supported by RW Global, a Vancouver-based financial consulting firm. Lai previously served as Senior Audit Manager at Crowe Mackay LLP, where he worked primarily with resource companies.
Lai replaces Julie Van Baarsen, who resigned to pursue other opportunities. The company's board expressed appreciation for Van Baarsen's service during her tenure.
Mexican Gold is a Canadian mineral exploration and development company focused on precious metals and copper projects in the Americas. The company is exploring the Las Minas Project in Veracruz State, Mexico.
