Marzetti names Mark Carter chief supply chain officer

The Marzetti Company (NASDAQ: MZTI) has appointed Mark Carter as Chief Supply Chain Officer, effective July 13, 2026, according to a company press release.

Carter brings more than 25 years of experience in supply chain operations within the consumer packaged goods industry. He most recently served as Chief Supply Chain Officer at Schwan's, where he oversaw supply chain operations across 18 manufacturing sites. Before that, he spent 18 years at Unilever in roles including Senior Vice President of Supply Chain for the North American ice cream business and Head of Supply Chain Operations for Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration, both from Case Western Reserve University.

Carter succeeds Luis Viso, who joined Marzetti as Chief Supply Chain Officer in 2023 and is set to retire later this year.

The Marzetti Company manufactures and sells specialty food products, including retail brands and foodservice offerings supplied to restaurant chains across the United States.
