Manganese X Energy names Andrew Gainsbury interim CFO

Manganese X Energy Corp. (TSXV: MN) appointed Andrew Gainsbury as interim chief financial officer, the company announced March 5. Gainsbury previously served as the company's controller.
Gainsbury holds CFA and CMA designations and has 16 years of experience in financial management and consulting in Canada and Brazil. He previously worked as controller for several publicly-listed Canadian junior mining companies and served as chief financial officer of a Brazilian engineering firm with more than 800 employees. He also worked as a senior consultant at Deloitte in Brazil, leading corporate finance projects across multiple industries.
The appointment follows the temporary departure of James Richardson, who stepped away from his CFO duties for medical reasons. Richardson remains a director of the company.
Gainsbury earned an MBA from McGill University and specializes in strategic management, mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, and corporate restructuring.
Manganese X Energy focuses on developing its Battery Hill project and aims to become a manganese mining company supplying materials to the lithium-ion battery and alternative energy industries.
