Mahoney Environmental names Laura Nortamo as VP of Finance

Mahoney Environmental announced that Laura Nortamo will join the company as Vice President of Finance, effective September 1, 2026, succeeding Teija Pajamo. Nortamo will also join Mahoney's Leadership Team and report to Dave Kimball, President and CEO.

Nortamo joins from Neste (HEL: NESTE), where she served as Head of Global Financial Services since 2022. In that role, she established a Center of Excellence, centralized Accounts Payable and General Ledger operations, and led company-wide ERP system enhancements.

Before Neste, Nortamo spent 10 years in audit and compliance services at KPMG, followed by more than a decade leading finance departments across the oil and gas, pharmaceutical distribution, retail, hospitality, and manufacturing industries.

Nortamo will be based in Woodridge, Illinois, where Mahoney Environmental is headquartered. Mahoney, founded in 1953, collects and processes used cooking oil and other waste products for the food service industry. The company was acquired by Neste in 2020.
