Maase Inc. names Baoxue Xu as Co-Chief Technology Officer

Maase Inc. (NASDAQ: MAAS) announced the appointment of Baoxue Xu as Co-Chief Technology Officer, overseeing the company's energy solutions division, effective Oct. 13, 2026.

In the role, Xu will supervise research, engineering, and commercialization of the company's energy products, including battery energy storage systems, smart battery management systems, energy management systems, and autonomous mobile charging robotics.

Xu brings more than two decades of experience in embedded systems, vehicle electronics, industrial Internet of Things, battery management, energy storage, and intelligent control. He has served as General Manager at Qingdao Guibao Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. since January 2016 and at Qingdao Maisi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. since January 2026.

Xu holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Qingdao Institute of Architectural Engineering and a master's degree in Power Systems and Automation from Shandong University of Technology. He has participated in drafting the group standard "Smart Mobile Charging Robots for New Energy Vehicles," organized by the China Electronic Equipment Technology Development Association.

Xu joins Dr. Zhifeng Li, who was previously appointed Chief Technology Officer for AI technology strategy. Chief Executive Officer Min Zhou said the two appointments form a "dual-engine technology leadership structure across AI computing and smart energy," according to a company statement.
