MSC Industrial Supply Co. (NYSE: MSM) announced that Chief Financial Officer Kristen Actis-Grande will resign from her position effective August 8 to become CFO of another publicly traded company.
Greg Clark, the company's Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller, will serve as interim CFO following Actis-Grande's departure. Clark has held various finance positions with MSC since 2003 and previously served as interim CFO in 2020. The company will conduct a search for a permanent CFO replacement.
Actis-Grande served as CFO for nearly five years. CEO Erik Gershwind said Clark's leadership, combined with the finance team and operating team led by President and Chief Operating Officer Martina McIsaac, will maintain company momentum.
MSC also reported that its fiscal fourth quarter performance is trending toward the upper half of its guidance ranges. Average daily sales for June increased 2.5% year-over-year and exceeded expectations. July's average daily sales growth rate remained positive.
The North American distributor of metalworking and maintenance, repair and operations products maintained its fourth quarter fiscal 2025 guidance of average daily sales growth between negative 0.5% and positive 1.5% year-over-year, with adjusted operating margin between 8.5% and 9.0%.
The company provided the financial outlook update based on June and July results, according to the press release issued July 28.
