Live Oak Bank names Matthew Diffley as chief accounting officer

Live Oak Bank, a subsidiary of Live Oak Bancshares, Inc. (NYSE: LOB), announced the appointment of Matthew S. Diffley as Chief Accounting Officer, according to a press release issued June 29, 2026.
Diffley will oversee financial reporting, accounting policy, general ledger operations, and SOX compliance at the Wilmington, N.C.-based bank.
He joins from Seacoast Banking Corporation of Florida, where he served as Senior Vice President and Controller, leading a 33-person team during the bank's growth from $5 billion to $21 billion in assets. Earlier, he held a Vice President of External Reporting role at JPMorgan Chase, overseeing SEC and regulatory reporting for Consumer and Community Banking with more than $500 billion in assets. He began his career at KPMG.
Diffley holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Miami University and a master's degree in accounting from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
