Lifeward names interim CEO and CFO amid leadership change

Lifeward Ltd. (Nasdaq: LFWD) announced the appointment of Josh Hexter as Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1, 2026, and Rami Aviram as Chief Financial Officer, effective November 1, 2026, according to a company statement.



Hexter succeeds Mark Grant, who is leaving Lifeward to pursue other opportunities. Grant will remain as a consultant through September 30, 2026 to assist with the transition. Hexter brings nearly three decades of life sciences experience, including roles as Chief Operating and Business Officer of Oramed Pharmaceuticals, Chief Business Officer of BrainsWay, and Executive Director of Corporate In-Licensing at BioLineRx. He also founded Biosensor Systems Design, where he served as CEO.



Aviram most recently served as CFO of Beewise, a robotics and artificial intelligence company, and previously held the CFO role at ENDYMED Medical and senior finance positions at Syneron-Candela. He holds a B.Sc. in Information Systems and Economics and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Haifa.



The leadership change comes as Lifeward reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $6.6 million, a 16% increase year-over-year. ReWalk Personal Exoskeleton sales rose 13% and AlterG product and service revenue grew 25% during the same period.



"My priority as Interim CEO will be to build on the Company's established commercial execution strategy and leverage Lifeward's platform across its growing portfolio of rehabilitation technologies," Hexter said.



Lifeward, headquartered in Hudson, Massachusetts and Yokneam Illit, Israel, markets neurorehabilitation products including the ReWalk Exoskeleton and AlterG Anti-Gravity system.
