LibertyStream names interim CFO as part of planned leadership change
LibertyStream Infrastructure Partners Inc. (TSXV: LIB | OTCQB: VLTLF | FSE: I2D) has appointed Keirah Burrell as Interim Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Morgan Tiernan, who is retiring, according to a company statement.
Burrell, a licensed Certified Public Accountant, previously served as Vice President of Accounting Operations at LibertyStream after joining the company earlier in 2026. She has more than 15 years of experience in public accounting, controllership and finance transformation, with prior roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers, The Siegfried Group, Poly and HP Inc. At The Siegfried Group, she led accounting stabilization, mergers and acquisitions transitions, and Sarbanes-Oxley programs for public companies.
Since joining LibertyStream, Burrell has coordinated the completion of the company's inaugural U.S. GAAP audit and is leading its NetSuite implementation. She has also taken on responsibilities across accounting, information technology and human resources functions.
"Keirah has done excellent work advancing LibertyStream's U.S. accounting and reporting capabilities," said Alex Wylie, President and CEO. "Her public-company accounting and SOX experience brings valuable depth to the team, and the Board has full confidence in her leadership of the finance function."
The transition coincides with LibertyStream's stated plans to pursue a listing on a U.S. stock exchange. The company is a lithium development company focused on producing lithium carbonate from oilfield brine using proprietary direct lithium extraction technology.
Tiernan's departure follows his tenure guiding the company's financial operations through its development as a public company. Wylie thanked Tiernan for his "years of service and dedication" through the transition period.
