Harlow brings more than 25 years of experience in commercial, operational, and business development roles across the biopharmaceutical industry. Most recently, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at Esperion Therapeutics, where he led commercial operations, business development, and global alliance management. Before that, he held the same title at Melinta Therapeutics prior to its 2025 acquisition by CorMedix.
Earlier roles include executive positions at Baudax Bio, Recro Pharma, and Endo Pharmaceuticals, as well as commercial and marketing roles at Shionogi, Alpharma/King Pharmaceuticals, Novartis, and Janssen. In connection with the appointment, Larimar's Compensation Committee approved an inducement equity award under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5635(c)(4). The grant consists of a non-qualified stock option to purchase 800,000 shares of common stock, priced at the closing price on the date of grant, and a restricted stock unit award covering 50,000 shares. The stock options vest over four years, with 25% vesting on the first anniversary and the remaining 75% vesting in monthly installments over the following 36 months. The restricted stock units vest in four equal annual installments beginning on the first anniversary of the grant date. Both awards are contingent on continued service and were granted outside the company's 2020 Equity Incentive Plan.
Larimar is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on rare diseases. Its lead drug candidate, nomlabofusp, is being developed as a potential treatment for Friedreich's ataxia.
