Kontoor Brands names Joseph Alkire president and CFO

Kontoor Brands, Inc. (NYSE: KTB) has appointed Joseph Alkire as president and chief financial officer, effective immediately, according to a company statement.

In his expanded role, Alkire will retain global responsibilities for the Helly Hansen brand while adding oversight of the Wrangler brand. He will also continue as chief financial officer and maintain oversight of the company's global operations.

Alkire joined Kontoor in 2023 and has since served on the company's executive leadership team. He will continue to report to Scott Baxter, who remains chief executive officer and chairman of the board of directors.

"We've reached an important inflection point in our value creation journey, and we're aligning our portfolio under one leader with the operational and financial expertise to deliver on our ambitions," Baxter said.

Kontoor Brands holds a portfolio of three brands — Wrangler, Lee, and Helly Hansen.
