Klaviyo (NYSE: KVYO) appointed Chano Fernández as co-CEO effective January 1, 2026, the company announced. Fernández will serve alongside co-founder and co-CEO Andrew Bialecki in the new leadership structure.
Under the arrangement, Bialecki will focus on artificial intelligence development and AI-first product development, while Fernández will oversee go-to-market activities, operations, and general administrative functions.
Fernández brings experience from leadership roles at enterprise software companies including SAP, Workday, and Eightfold. He served as co-CEO at both Workday and Eightfold, an AI platform company. Fernández has been a board member at Klaviyo for two years and recently served as interim executive officer.
"This is a once-in-a-generation technology shift, and we intend to lead it," said Bialecki. "With Chano driving GTM and global operations, I can stay focused on developing the AI-first products that will shape the next decade of Klaviyo."
Fernández said the appointment comes at a time when AI is changing how brands interact with consumers. "I am excited to advance our position as the B2C CRM market leader and help our customers harness this transformation in ways that drive real business impact," he stated.
The Boston-based company provides customer relationship management software for business-to-consumer companies. Klaviyo serves over 183,000 brands and combines marketing automation, analytics, and customer service functions.
The information is based on a company press release.
