KindlyMD names Tim Pickett as chief medical officer

August 21, 2025 8:00 AM EDT

KindlyMD Inc. (NASDAQ: NAKA) announced the appointment of Tim Pickett as chief medical officer, effective August 15, 2025. Pickett previously served as chief executive officer of the healthcare services company.

The appointment follows KindlyMD's merger with Nakamoto Holdings Inc., a Bitcoin-focused holding company. David Bailey now serves as chief executive officer following the merger completion.

Pickett will continue leading the company's healthcare services platform and will serve on the board of directors. He will also serve as chief executive officer of Kindly LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of KindlyMD.

"I am proud to continue leading our Company's innovative healthcare business as it enters its next phase of growth," Pickett said in a statement. He brings more than a decade of medical and executive leadership experience to the role.

The merger combined KindlyMD's healthcare operations with Nakamoto's Bitcoin treasury strategy. KindlyMD provides integrated healthcare services including primary care, pain management, behavioral health, and alternative therapies.

Bailey said Pickett's leadership will remain central to the company's growth efforts as it operates both healthcare services and Bitcoin treasury management functions.

The company completed its merger with Nakamoto Holdings in August 2025 to establish what it describes as a publicly traded Bitcoin treasury vehicle combined with healthcare services.
