Kinaxis names Kristin Russel as chief marketing officer
Kinaxis Inc. (TSX: KXS) appointed Kristin Russel as chief marketing officer, the supply chain planning software company announced. Russel will oversee the company's global marketing organization, including marketing strategy, corporate positioning, digital marketing, and go-to-market initiatives.
Russel joins Kinaxis from symplr, where she served as chief marketing officer and developed the company's marketing strategy across branding, digital marketing, public relations, and business development. She previously held marketing roles at Quest Analytics, Carrot Inc., Humana, Cerner, and Omnicell.
"Kristin is a proven leader with a track record of building strong brands and connecting strategy to execution," said Razat Gaurav, chief executive officer of Kinaxis. "As Kinaxis continues to expand its leadership in AI-powered supply chain orchestration and accelerate global growth, Kristin's experience scaling enterprise technology platforms and transforming go-to-market strategy will help strengthen how we engage customers, partners, and the market."
Russel founded fintech company Anachron, which was later acquired by ING Bank. She has received recognition including being named to PR Daily's 2023 Top Women in Marketing, Becker's Top 100 Women in Healthcare, and the 2026 B2B CMO 100 list.
Russel will speak at Kinexions, where she will discuss steps organizations can take to move from decisions to outcomes in complex operating environments, according to the company's press release.
