KORU Medical names Adam Kalbermatten as chief commercial officer

KORU Medical Systems (NASDAQ: KRMD) appointed Adam Kalbermatten as chief commercial officer, effective July 28, 2025, according to a company statement.

Kalbermatten will oversee the medical device company's global commercial strategy, including marketing, sales, market access, and pharmaceutical customer engagement. He brings over 20 years of commercial leadership experience in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries.

Kalbermatten joins KORU Medical from Becton Dickinson, where he served as vice president and general manager of advanced drug delivery systems. He previously served as chief executive officer of ZebraSci, a provider of analytical and drug device combination product development services, which was acquired by Becton Dickinson. He also held leadership roles at Terumo Medical Corporation.

Kalbermatten holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a master's degree in engineering management from Stevens Institute of Technology, and an MBA with concentrations in finance and healthcare from Columbia Business School.

KORU Medical develops and manufactures subcutaneous infusion solutions, including the FREEDOM Syringe Infusion System, which received its first FDA clearance in 1994.
