Jasper Therapeutics names two executives to regulatory and clinical roles

Jasper Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: JSPR) announced the appointments of Lisa Pitt as Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Shiguang Liu as Vice President of Clinical Development, according to a company press release.

Pitt brings over 25 years of experience in regulatory and medical affairs across industry and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. She most recently served as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Aiolos Bio before its acquisition by GlaxoSmithKline. She has also held regulatory roles at NorthSea Therapeutics, Horizon Therapeutics, Viela Bio, AstraZeneca, and Novartis. At the FDA, she served as Senior Regulatory Health Project Manager at the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, where she managed IND, NDA, and BLA submissions.

Liu joins from Sanofi, where he spent over a decade in research and development, pharmacovigilance, and clinical development. He most recently served as Clinical Lead and Senior Clinical Research Director, focusing on rare diseases in renal and metabolic disorders. Before entering the biopharmaceutical industry, he held academic appointments at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Duke University School of Medicine, and the National Institutes of Health.

The appointments follow Jasper's merger with Kira Pharmaceuticals. The company is developing vensobafusp alfa (KP104), briquilimab, and KP701 across several immune-mediated disease indications.

Jasper also disclosed that on Sept. 14, 2026, it granted options to purchase an aggregate of 243,000 shares of voting common stock to three new employees as material inducement grants under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5635(c)(4). The options carry an exercise price of $0.6328 per share and vest over four years, with 25% vesting on the one-year anniversary of each employee's start date and the remainder vesting monthly over the following three years.
