Jackson names Dean Hosfield as chief information officer

Jackson National Life Insurance Company (NYSE: JXN) announced that Dean Hosfield has been named Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, effective October 5, according to a press release from Jackson Financial Inc.

Hosfield, who previously spent 17 years at Jackson, returns to the company after serving as Chief Operating Officer at Knighthead Life. Before that role, he spent nearly 11 years at AIG and Fortitude Re. During his earlier tenure at Jackson, he last served as Vice President of Systems and Programming.

Hosfield will report to Laura Hanson, Executive Vice President of Operations and Technology Services at Jackson.

Hosfield holds a bachelor's degree in organization administration from Central Michigan University and master's degrees in business administration and finance from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. He has more than 40 years of experience in operations and technology.

"Dean is a proven technology leader in the insurance industry and I'm thrilled to welcome him back to Jackson," Hanson said.

Jackson National Life Insurance Company is the main operating subsidiary of Jackson Financial Inc., a publicly traded company listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
