JZXN appoints Doug Buerger as COO for digital currency strategy

JZXN Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: JZXN) appointed Dr. Doug Buerger as Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately, according to a company statement.

Dr. Buerger brings over 30 years of experience in blockchain, artificial intelligence, and digital currency systems. His background includes advising technology companies on blockchain architecture, tokenomics strategies, and decentralized finance integration.

In his new role, Dr. Buerger will oversee JZXN's digital currency treasury strategy. His responsibilities include integrating Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies into the company's balance sheet, establishing a treasury management framework with risk controls, and exploring participation in DeFi protocols and staking opportunities.

"Dr. Buerger's arrival brings a combination of scientific rigor and innovative thinking to our digital asset transformation," said Tao Li, CEO of JZXN. "We believe his leadership will help JZXN build a more resilient and return-driven digital asset system."

Dr. Buerger stated that digital assets are at a critical stage of institutional adoption and that JZXN has the opportunity to become a key player in corporate Bitcoin strategy.

JZXN operates as a provider of smart charging infrastructure for new energy vehicles in China's lower-tier cities, specializing in high-power DC fast-charging stations and integrated energy storage systems. The company plans to expand its charging network through 2026.
