Intact Insurance names Rory Meleniclis as chief information officer
Intact Insurance has appointed Rory Meleniclis as Chief Information Officer for its global specialty lines business, the company announced. He will be based in Plymouth, Minn.
Meleniclis brings more than 20 years of experience leading technology teams at regulated financial institutions. Most recently, he held senior leadership roles at Royal Bank of Canada, where he oversaw global teams responsible for core platforms across payments, data, and cybersecurity across North America and international markets.
In his new role, Meleniclis will focus on strengthening core systems, advancing cloud capabilities, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the global specialty lines business. He will also work with business and operations leaders to align technology investments with strategic priorities and modernize core systems.
Lynn O'Leary, EVP and Chief Operating Officer of global specialty lines at Intact Insurance, said: "Rory brings deep experience leading complex change initiatives, and his leadership will help us build on that momentum."
