Infinity Natural Resources names new CFO as current finance chief resigns

Infinity Natural Resources, Inc. (NYSE: INR) announced the appointment of Cary Baetz as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and Andrew Judge as Senior Vice President of Finance, both effective August 12, 2026, according to a company statement.
Baetz most recently served as CFO of Boart Longyear and previously held the CFO role at Berry Corporation, where he led the company's 2018 initial public offering. He also served as CFO and Treasurer of Seventy Seven Energy, CFO of Chesapeake Oilfield Services, and held senior finance roles at other energy and industrial companies. He holds degrees from Oklahoma State University and the University of Arkansas.
Judge most recently served as Vice President of Finance and Business Development at Encino Energy, a private Ohio Utica Shale operator, where he helped raise more than $2.0 billion in capital during the company's growth prior to its $5.6 billion sale to EOG Resources in 2025. Before Encino, he worked at Quantum Energy Partners and began his career as an engineer at ExxonMobil. He holds degrees from Harvard Business School and the University of Texas at Austin.
Current CFO David Sproule will resign from his position effective August 12, 2026. The company stated his departure is not related to any disagreement over operations, financial statements, policies, or practices.
Infinity is an independent energy company focused on hydrocarbon acquisition, development, production, and gathering in the Appalachian Basin, with operations in the Utica Shale in eastern Ohio and in the Marcellus and Utica Shales in southwestern Pennsylvania.
