Illumia names Eric Schuster as chief product officer

Illumia, a business unit of Roper Technologies (Nasdaq: ROP), has appointed Eric Schuster as chief product officer, according to a company statement. Schuster will oversee product strategy and development across Illumia's technology portfolio, which serves higher education, healthcare, and corporate campus markets.

Schuster brings more than 20 years of enterprise software experience. He most recently served as chief product officer at ADP, where he led product strategy for ADP Workforce Now, a human capital management platform used by more than 90,000 companies. His responsibilities at ADP included advancing the platform's AI capabilities, including ADP Assist, an AI-powered tool for employee and manager task support.

Before ADP, Schuster spent nearly 15 years at Ceridian, now known as Dayforce, where he served as vice president of Dayforce product management during the company's transition from a legacy payroll provider to a cloud-based human capital management platform.

In his new role, Schuster will focus on integrating Illumia's product offerings and applying AI to client workflows. "The strongest products are built with the people closest to the work," Schuster said. "Illumia's client-led design sprints bring those users into the process early, allowing teams to test ideas, understand the operational need and shape solutions with greater focus."

Illumia, formerly known as Transact + CBORD, provides payments, access, foodservice, and credentialing systems to more than 10,000 institutions.
