IM Cannabis CFO Uri Birenberg to step down in January

IM Cannabis Corp. (NASDAQ: IMCC) announced that Chief Financial Officer Uri Birenberg will step down from his position for personal reasons. Birenberg will continue serving as CFO until January 5, 2026, or an earlier date as determined by the company, and will assist in the transition process until a successor is appointed.
The medical cannabis company operates in Israel and Germany, providing cannabis products to medical patients in both markets. Birenberg has served as CFO for the past two years.
"On behalf of our entire team, I would like to thank Uri for his commitment and contribution to IMC," said Oren Shuster, Chief Executive Officer. "Over the past two years, he has been a valued member of our leadership. We wish him every success in his next chapter."
Birenberg stated: "It has been a great pleasure to serve as the Company's Chief Financial Officer over the past two years. I have the highest confidence in the Company and am grateful for the opportunity to work with one of the most dedicated teams in the cannabis industry."
The company has not yet announced details regarding the search for Birenberg's replacement. IM Cannabis operates through subsidiaries in Israel that import and distribute cannabis to medical patients, and operates retail pharmacies, online platforms, and distribution centers. In Germany, the company operates through Adjupharm GmbH, distributing cannabis to pharmacies for medical cannabis patients.
