Hormel Foods names Paul Kuehneman chief accounting officer

Hormel Foods Corporation (NYSE: HRL) announced the appointment of Paul Kuehneman as chief accounting officer, according to a company press release dated Sept. 10, 2026.



In the role, Kuehneman will lead the company's accounting organization and oversee its tax function. He will report to Ash Bhumbla, executive vice president and chief financial officer.



Kuehneman joined Hormel Foods in 1993 and has held accounting and controller positions at the company's manufacturing facilities in Austin, Minnesota, and Rochelle, Illinois, as well as at its headquarters. He became director of internal audit in 2009 and was promoted to vice president and chief financial officer for Jennie-O Turkey Store in 2016. He was named assistant controller in November 2020 and controller in January 2022. Most recently, he served as interim chief financial officer and controller.



Kuehneman holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Northwest Missouri State University and is a certified public accountant.
