HomesToLife names interim CFO Zhengjie Chai as permanent CFO

HomesToLife Ltd (NASDAQ: HTLM) appointed Zhengjie "Jeff" Chai as chief financial officer, effective May 1. Chai had been serving as interim CFO prior to the permanent appointment.

The Singapore-based furniture company's board of directors approved the appointment. Chief Executive Officer Phua Mei Ming said Chai's financial expertise and operational experience would support the company's expansion strategy and growth initiatives.

Chai brings experience from the furniture and manufacturing sectors. He served as CFO and secretary of HTL Furniture Inc., a U.S.-based related party of HomesToLife, since September 2020. He also held the position of regional vice president of finance for several company subsidiaries and previously worked as vice president of finance and operations at HTL Furniture Inc. from September 2020 to December 2023.

Chai holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Master of Business Administration from Boise State University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in International Business and Automatic Control Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

HomesToLife operates three divisions: an export division supplying furniture to retail partners worldwide, a leather trading division, and a consumer retail division with operations in Singapore and Korea. The company maintains manufacturing operations across China, Vietnam, and India.
