Hillcrest Energy Technologies names new board chair, directors
Hillcrest Energy Technologies Ltd. (CSE: HEAT, OTCQB: HLRTF) announced changes to its board of directors and advisory team following its Annual General Meeting held July 13, 2026.
Michael Moskowitz, a former leader of Panasonic's North American business operations, has been appointed Chair of the Board. He previously served as an Independent Director of the company. David Farrell, who previously chaired the board, is moving into a strategic advisory role. Farrell has over 25 years of corporate and investment banking experience and has been involved in more than $25 billion in mergers, acquisitions, and structured financing transactions.
Raylene Whitford has been appointed as a new Independent Director and Chair of the Audit Committee. Whitford is a Cree-Métis finance professional and Fellow Chartered Accountant who previously served as an equity partner at Deloitte Canada and Chile and led a $42 billion capital efficiency program for an energy company in the Middle East. She also serves as Chair of First Nations University of Canada.
Matthew Todd Peigan, former Chief of Pasqua First Nation #79 and current Chair of CleanPath Distribution Inc., has been appointed as a company Advisor. CleanPath is an Indigenous-majority-owned entity formed by Pasqua First Nation, Apeiron Resources Ltd., and Hillcrest, focused on commercializing the company's Zero Voltage Switching power conversion products in Canada.
The company also announced the grant of 1,583,331 restricted share units to directors and consultants. The RSUs vest in four equal installments between October 2026 and July 2027 and expire three years from the grant date.
