Helios Technologies names new CFO and promotes accounting officer

Helios Technologies Inc. (NYSE: HLIO) announced two leadership appointments to its finance team. Michael Connaway will join as Chief Financial Officer in October 2025, while Jeremy Evans has been promoted to Chief Accounting Officer effective September 1, 2025.
Connaway will assume the CFO role from Sean Bagan, who currently serves as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Bagan will retain his CEO and President positions when Connaway joins the company.
Connaway has served as CFO of Aviat Networks Inc. (NASDAQ: AVNW) since May 2024. His background includes 16 years at General Electric, where he concluded as Head of Global Financial Planning & Analysis for the Industrial Solutions business. He spent 16 months as CFO for ABB's $2.6 billion Industrial Solutions business after it acquired GE's unit in 2018. Connaway later worked at Honeywell for over three years in various CFO roles, including CFO of the Energy & Sustainability Solutions segment. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Boston College.
Evans joined Helios on January 24, 2024, as Corporate Controller. Prior to Helios, he spent 25 years at Tech Data, now TD SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX), where he served as Vice President of Accounting Transformation. Evans earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Math and Spanish from Eckerd College, an MBA from the University of Sarasota, and holds a CPA license from Florida.
The Sarasota, Florida-based company develops motion control and electronic controls technology for construction, material handling, agriculture, energy, recreational vehicles, marine and health and wellness markets. Helios sells products to customers in over 90 countries.
