HawkEye 360 names John Monahan as SVP of U.S. Government

HawkEye 360, Inc. (NYSE: HAWK) has appointed John Monahan as Senior Vice President of U.S. Government, according to a press release from the Herndon, Va.-based company.
In the role, Monahan will oversee HawkEye 360's U.S. government signals intelligence business, managing existing programs and pursuing new opportunities in support of U.S. military and intelligence community customers.
Monahan brings more than 35 years of aerospace and national security experience. He previously served as Vice President of Space Protection Programs at Lockheed Martin, where he led satellite, sensor, and ground system programs for national security purposes. He also held senior roles at Kratos and RT Logic, overseeing satellite communications and ground systems businesses.
Before his industry career, Monahan spent 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, with assignments spanning GPS, military satellite communications, and national space and ground systems. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Villanova University and an MBA from the University of Houston–Clear Lake.
Todd Probert, Chief Operating Officer of HawkEye 360, said in the statement: "John brings the experience and customer understanding to strengthen program execution, deepen those relationships, and expand our role in supporting their missions."
Monahan said his focus will be on "listening closely to those customers, delivering on our commitments, and building new opportunities for HawkEye 360's signals intelligence to support operational decisions."
