HF Sinclair names Steve Ledbetter as CEO, effective Jan. 2027
HF Sinclair Corporation (NYSE and NYSE Texas: DINO) announced the appointment of Steve Ledbetter as chief executive officer and president, effective January 1, 2027. Ledbetter currently serves as the company's president and chief operating officer.
Ledbetter succeeds Franklin Myers, who will remain as CEO through the transition date. Myers will then serve as executive chairperson, advising on matters related to the company's previously announced plan to separate its Lubricants & Specialties segment.
The HF Sinclair Board of Directors also plans to expand the board and appoint Ledbetter as a director at a later date.
Ledbetter joined HF Sinclair in March 2023 as executive vice president, commercial, and assumed the role of president and chief operating officer in July 2026. He has more than 25 years of experience in the energy, transportation and consumer services sectors.
Before joining HF Sinclair, Ledbetter served as president and CEO of Shell Midstream Partners GP LLC and earlier as president and CEO of Jiffy Lube International. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Financial Management Services from Texas A&M University.
Lead independent director Leldon Echols said Ledbetter's appointment reflects the board's succession planning process, citing his oversight of the company's commercial organization and operations across its refining, renewables, marketing and midstream businesses.
