Guidewire names Dan Brown as chief product officer

Guidewire (NYSE: GWRE) has appointed Dan Brown as Chief Product Officer, the company announced Oct. 5. Brown will report to Chief Executive Officer Mike Rosenbaum.
Brown joins Guidewire from Celonis, where he also held the Chief Product Officer role. Before Celonis, he served as Chief Product Officer at Certinia and held multiple product, R&D, and leadership positions during a 15-year tenure at Microsoft. He brings more than 25 years of enterprise software experience.
In his new role, Brown will lead product strategy and execution, with a focus on embedding AI across Guidewire's suite of core applications for property and casualty insurers.
"Dan has a proven record of turning product vision into decisive market execution and rapid enterprise adoption," Rosenbaum said.
"We're already bringing AI into the products insurers trust, making them more powerful, intuitive, and valuable," Brown said in a statement included in the press release.
