GameSquare appoints Doug Rosen as chief commercial and strategy officer

GameSquare Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: GAME) announced the appointment of Doug Rosen as Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer and the promotion of Paul Ioakim to Head of Agency, according to a company press release.

Rosen will lead GameSquare's global commercial strategy and revenue growth, with responsibility for scaling the company's operating businesses and expanding strategic partnerships. He previously served as Head of Games & Emerging Media at Paramount, where he built and led the company's global games and emerging media business. Before Paramount, Rosen held senior leadership roles at NBCUniversal, DIRECTV, and HBO.

Ioakim will lead GameSquare's Agency Services division, unifying the company's marketing, creative, and media capabilities. He joined GameSquare in 2023 and previously served as Head of Experiences, focusing on live experiences and brand activations.

GameSquare describes itself as a media, entertainment, and technology company that operates gaming media networks and includes FaZe Clan Esports. The company provides creative services and analytics, targeting Gen Z, Gen Alpha, and Millennial audiences.

The appointments align with GameSquare's growth strategy as the company aims to scale its commercial platform and unify its agency capabilities.
