GXO appoints Bart Beeks as chief operating officer

GXO Logistics Inc. (NYSE: GXO) appointed Bart Beeks as chief operating officer, effective January 2, 2026. The newly created position will focus on driving global operational excellence through standardized execution across the company's network.



Beeks will report to CEO Patrick Kelleher and lead GXO's global operational excellence agenda. "Execution and growth go hand in hand," Kelleher said in a statement. "Bart brings exceptional operational experience and proven leadership that will enable us to take the best of what we do so well and scale it consistently across our global network."



Before joining GXO, Beeks served as chief operating officer at CEVA Logistics, where he managed operations in more than 170 countries. He rose from intern to the executive role at CEVA, where he improved operating margins and revenue growth while leading multiple acquisition integrations. His previous positions at CEVA included executive vice president in Benelux and senior vice president of operational excellence.



Prior to his logistics career, Beeks served as a commanding officer in the Dutch Special Forces. His experience includes operations management, implementation excellence, international operations, and team leadership.



GXO describes itself as a contract logistics provider with over 150,000 employees across more than 1,000 facilities totaling more than 200 million square feet. The company is headquartered in Greenwich, Connecticut.
